SOPHISTICATED FUNK was born in the Ibiza Summer sunshine of 2007 when clubbing history was made when Amnesia (Ibiza), embraced its first ever large scale Hiphop set with SOFUNKED headlining every Tuesday night with DJ Moniz behind the turntables.

Then in 2008, this achievement was taken to higher heights as SOFUNKED teamed up with the infamous SUPERMARTE with sets  in the famed Cocoloco Room in Privilege renamed UNVRS ( the BIGGEST CLUB IN THE WORLD), also in Ibiza.

SOFUNKED are specialists in urban music. We play a wide selection of music genres we play, including hip hop, rnb, soul, Amapiano, Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, soulful house and old school cuts.

Through strong connections with record companies and white promo labels we have access to exclusive tracks at our parties

Aside from showcasing established special artists and DJ’s, SOFUNKED has also created innovative and creative theme parties with sponsored drinks launches and events that stand out from the regular club scene . 

Themes have included Sex and the City  and Old skool Hiphop specials. The unique creativity and vision of the brand has created a buzz amongst club goers and appeals to the masses.
